The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The company point produced for intervention encounters a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
